With the highest-quality studio technology and educated personnel, we bring the original sound to the highest fidelity possible. In our acoustically treated suites and mixes, we work with the digital audio workstation Pro Toolsby AVID.
If you have any audio questions for your upcoming shoot or need a set sound engineer, we will be happy to help you.
Dialogue editing refers to the post-processing of the original sound, recorded by the sound engineer on set. The cleaner and more detailed these recordings are, the better it can be edited in the post-production process.
ADR can comfortably be done in our two recording studios, both equipped with the software ADR Master and digital audio workstation Pro Tools by AVID.
Of course, we also offer worldwide studio connections using the SessionLinkPRO recording software.
We are also happy to assist you in finding suitable voice artists, ADR editors or directors.
ADR stands for Automatic Dialogue Replacement and describes the process of exchanging the audio recorded on set with audio recorded afterwards in a studio. Should the original sound on set come out different than intended, it is possible for us to repeat the lines of the actor or actress, edit them and insert them back into the film.
We find sounds that add an extra dimension to your project. Whether as an essential support to the visuals of a film or as a storytelling element in audiobooks and exhibitions.
Our steadily growing sound library with more than 500,000 entries offers a wide variety of sounds for the present, past and future. We can advise you individually on the best solution for your sound concept.
Sound design includes creative work with a variety of sound elements. Sound designers create immersive and unique sound worlds that enhance the visual experience of the audience.
Our Foley recordings come directly from our own 180 m2 Foley studio. Benefit from our team of full-time employees, who produces all recordings individually for your project with the help of various props.
All externally commissioned Foley recordings can be edited in house before we send them to you. We will gladly send you an offer.
Foley refers to audio recordings such as steps and movement. Probably the most known description of the job as a foley artist is the imitation of horse hooves, for which coconut shells are still used today.
Our experienced re-recording mixers complete your projects in a creative process and in close cooperation with the executive producers and directors.
We have a total of four mixing studios of different sizes and with studio equipment at the highest level.
Mixing Studio I –
Dolby Atmos Cinema Studio:
Our Mix I is our largest mixing studio at 100 m2. It was officially certified as a Dolby Atmos Cinema Studio by Dolby in 2021.
Mixing Studio II –
Stereo and multichannel Mixing Studio
Our 30 m2 big Mix II is ideally equipped for professional mixing in stereo and multichannel for TV, DVD or BluRay.
Mixing Studio III –Mixing and ADR Studio
In conjunction with the adjacent 20 m2 recording room, the 30 m2 stereo and multichannel Mix III also serves as an ADR Studio, providing a comfortable space for several people to work creatively.

Dolby Atmos Home Entertainment Studio
Our new Dolby Atmos Home Entertainment Studio is in the premises of the Riverside Studios Cologne and offers in around 50 m2 of feel-good space a unique and professional way to experience sound. In addition to Dolby Atmos Home Entertainment, the studio also offers the possibility of music mixes in the immersive audio format Auro 3D.
Mixing is the final process of film sound post-production. Here, all applied sounds including music will be perfectly balanced in their volume and converted into many different audio formats such as Stereo, Dolby Surround, Dolby Digital or Dolby Atmos.
We are an officially certified Dolby Atmos Cinema and Dolby Atmos Home Entertainment Studio.
Our Dolby Atmos Studios are located inside our Headquarters as well as in the premises of our cooperation partner Riverside Studios Cologne.

Dolby Atmos is an audio format that creates three-dimensional sound by using a special arrangement of speakers, leading to a unique and immersive listening experience.
We would love to provide the audio description for your barrier-free project. In Addition to the audio recording, editing and mixing, we also take care of the content implementation.
Of course, we also offer the corresponding subtitle version as well. If desired, in various languages.
The barrier-free version of a project includes subtitles for people with a hearing disability and an audio description for people with a visual impairment. In an audio description, the plot of a film is explained in such a way that listeners can imagine exactly what is happening on screen.

Riverside Studios Cologne cover a wide range of music recordings for different genres and musicians. Since 2020, our Dolby Atmos Home Entertainment Studio, capable of music mixes in the immersive audio format Auro 3D, can be found in the studio building at Riverside Studios Cologne.
